Kremlin's Reaction
On September 26, the Kremlin stated that the US's delivery of long-range ATACMS missiles and Abrams tanks to Ukraine would not alter the situation on the battlefield. When questioned about this during a routine press briefing, Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesman, mentioned that the Russian armed forces were continually adjusting to the introduction of new weaponry in what Moscow describes as its special military operation (SVO) in Ukraine. He further emphasized that these developments would not fundamentally affect the nature of the SVO or its ultimate outcome, asserting that no single weapon is capable of significantly shifting the balance of power on the battlefield.
