November 12,  2018, (Sharjah) – Under the leadership of its Chairman, H.E. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) will have a major presence the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) this year. The event will give SNOC, Sharjah’s flagship oil and gas company, another opportunity to share insights and expertise with the leading global companies and executives in the energy sector.

The ADIPEC conference will take place on the sidelines of SNOC’s participation in this premier event. This year ADIPEC will take place in Abu Dhabi from 12th to 15th November 2018, attracting major national and international oil and energy companies and industry players.

"SNOC being showcased at ADIPEC is part of Sharjah’s vision to promote its flagship energy player in the domestic and international energy markets, and to provide our knowledge, experience and best-practice expertise to other players in the energy sector," H.E. Sheikh Al Qasimi. "ADIPEC also offers SNOC a unique opportunity to strengthen our relations and network with international NOCs and IOCs participating at the exhibition".

H.E. Sheikh Al Qasimi also pointed to the UAE’s influential position within global oil and gas markets and ADIPEC’s own reputation in attracting the leading global decision makers and industry experts.

"SNOC complements the positive role the UAE plays in creating sustainable and secure energy supply for the development of domestic and international energy markets," he said.

In line with the UAE’s strategic vision, SNOC is on task to develop several key projects including the commencement of drilling for Sharjah onshore, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) projects for internal markets and ensuring sustainable energy supply through various liquified natural gas (LNG) initiatives.

“SNOC’s strong presence at ADIPEC this year is part of the company’s keenness to showcase its key energy projects (Drilling exploration well, LNG, 2018 Sharjah License Round) and its commitment to keep up with latest trends and technology in the global energy space through participation and collaboration,” said Hatem Al Mosa, CEO of Sharjah National Oil Corporation.

“As Sharjah’s national oil company, we work closely with global industry players and experts to implement the UAE’s and Sharjah’s strategic vision. SNOC’s presence at major events like ADIPEC is a clear indication of showcasing and strengthening the Corporation’s own future vision,” he added.

Mr. Al Mosa noted the company’s various projects and it’s continuous expansion as an energy company into an integrated and holistic energy provider to Sharjah and the UAE as a whole. SNOC’s open exhibit at ADIPEC is proof of the company’s growing presence in the UAE.

ADIPEC is hosted by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company in Abu Dhabi – the Middle East’s energy capital. This year, it is projected to attract 26 national oil companies, 15 international oil companies, and 110,000 attendees across its four days of high-profile exhibition and conferencing. It creates an ideal platform for petroleum professionals and regional national and international stakeholders to connect, network, and drive innovation and excellence in the industry through partnership and collaboration.

The Sharjah National Oil Corporation was founded by the Government of Sharjah through an Emiri Decree of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. Established as Sharjah’s flagship oil company, it operates three gas condensate fields.
